What you get

An eighteenth-century building on the Lange Straße, reopened under Leonardo's Limited Edition label after a full renovation. Officially 4-star superior on the German DEHOGA register — the only sub-five-star hotel we deliberately keep on the list, because the arithmetic is better than most of the fives.

The detail that matters: thermal water is piped into the house. Baden-Baden's springs run under the old town, and only a handful of hotels are plumbed into them.
