Our notes

Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel

The Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera is a beachfront resort hotel in the village of Mlini, on the coast between Dubrovnik Old Town and Dubrovnik Airport. According to its Booking.com listing, the Old Town is 10 km away, the historic town of Cavtat is 9.5 km away and the airport is 9 km away, with a shuttle available on request at a surcharge and free private parking on site. The hotel sits in a secluded position on the water, with a pebble beach, gardens, and outdoor and indoor pools.

All rooms are air-conditioned and have a balcony, a flat-screen TV, a minibar and a safe, and the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed. Bathrooms have a bathtub and a shower. The hotel has a spa and wellness centre, a fitness centre, a bar, a restaurant and a conference centre lit by natural daylight.

The hotel's own page sits on the Marriott website, which blocked our automated access, so the photographs and facts here come from its Booking.com listing. Guest ratings on record: Booking.com 9.4 from 1,294 reviews, Google 4.7 from about 2,800 and TripAdvisor 4.6 from 1,676, all read in October 2026.

The area

Dubrovnik grew rich as the maritime Republic of Ragusa, which ran its own affairs for centuries and protected them with the city walls that still ring the Old Town. The Old Town was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1979. It was shelled in the 1991-92 siege and has since been repaired, which is why the terracotta roofs you see from above are newer than the stone beneath them.
